Privacy Policy

Respecting your privacy is fundamental to me at StrategyDIY and, as such, I do not and will not sell or make available to third parties your personal information.  I truly appreciate your interest in the concepts we discuss here at StrategyDIY and maintaining your trust through protection of your privacy is a core belief.  Look, I hate spam and fear credit card loss as much as anyone; so I won’t put StrategyDIY friends at risk.

What information is collected?

Information is collected from you when you place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, RSS feed or respond to a survey.

When ordering or registering on the site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information. You may, however, visit this site anonymously.
Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to you based on visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.  You can opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

How is any information used?

Any of the information collected from you will basically be used to improve StrategyDIY – the function and the content – to ensure it’s always a great visit to the site.  The information may be used to:  improve the website, improve my customer service, process any transactions (please note: all sales transactions are handled outside of StrategyDIY.com to ensure security and excellence),  and send periodic emails (if you subscribe to the newsletter or RSS feeds).

Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, detailed unsubscribe instructions are included at the bottom of each email.

After any transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) is not stored on StrategyDIY.com.

Cookies?

Yes, I love them (especially, for some reason, Oreos).  The other kind, on your computer, are used to keep track of advertisements and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that I can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.  Most of that data collected is non-personal (ISP, web browser, etc.).

Do I disclose any information to outside parties?

As outlined right up front in this policy, I do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personal information.

Occasionally, I may include or offer third party products or services (see Disclosures). These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. I don’t, therefore, have responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. But, I am always considering both your privacy protection and mine and want to ensure the integrity of this site; I  welcome any feedback about these sites or my referrals.

Children’s’ Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

This site is in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), and I do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age.  This website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
